“City As Art” is presented January 22-March 1, 2007

For this first juried exhibit of 2007, 98 artists from Missouri and Illinois submitted 167 artworks in all media for the jurors' consideration. From the entries, jurors Fitzgerald & Hansman selected 47 artworks by 41 artists.

Thanks too everyone who attended the Jan 20th opening reception -- It was a blast.

The jurors selected 5 artists to receive Awards of Excellence in recognition of their outstanding works in "City As Art." Those artists are: Bradley E. Bauer, David Garcia, Peter Gifford, David Spear, and Jennifer Weigel.

From 122 artworks submitted by 76 artists for “Forces of Nature,” Professor Leong selected 61 artworks by 55 artists for the final exhibit. Join in the fun! The Loop's annual visual and performing arts festival will take place on October 5 to October 6, 2007 on the sidewalks and in the streets along Delmar.

The event will kick off on Friday, October 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. with an Art Walk featuring exhibitions at more than 17 locations throughout the Loop. Additionally, there will be dance and musical performances taking place at two places, one located at the Regional Arts Commission, and the stage located at Market in The Loop.

Kimmswick is located about 20 miles south of Saint Louis off of Highway 55. Take I55 to the Imperial Main Street Exit #186. If you are traveling South on I55 you would make a Left at the top of the Exit. If you are traveling North on I55 you would make a Right at the top of the Exit. Follow this to the 1st Stop Light and Make a Right onto Highway 61-67. Follow this about 1 Block to Highway K. Make a Left onto Highway K. Follow this road into Kimmswick

Crown Ridge invites you to our 1st annual Fall Festival November 3-4, 2007; 11am-5pm. You will have a chance to observe the tigers from all areas, including a bird’s eye view from the observation deck. Activities throughout the day will include wine and champagne tasting, a trivia scavenger hunt, a silent auction, music by The Bearded Babies, and some surprises.

Take I-55 south to exit 150 (Hwy 32) west, then make a quick left onto outer road (State Route B.)

Continue 8 miles. Crown Ridge is on the right at 19620 State Route B.
